You are the “eyes and ears” on the ground! If you identify a risk or witness a hazard, incident or accident, report it immediately to your superior.

Your reports allow corrective measures to be taken to improve the level of safety of operations and to protect the entire airport community and our passengers.

What should I report?

Any hazard, incident or accident related to aviation safety!

Here are some examples:

  • Any damage to or involving an aircraft
  • Excessive duty time or incorrect shift change
  • Crew rushing through their checks
  • Inadequate control tools or equipment
  • Inadequate runway signage
  • Blocked emergency routes
  • Incorrect or inadequate procedures and technical manuals or lack of adherence to them
  • Poor communication between operational areas or systems failure
  • Poor snow clearance practices
  • Lack of adequate training and continuing education
  • Runway incursions or FOD

In an airport environment, safety is everyone’s business!
