As of October 1, 2022, the Government of Canada will remove all COVID-19 border and travel measures.
Moreover, travellers will no longer have to submit their public health information through the ArriveCAN mobile application. Travellers can continue to use the optional Advance CBSA Declaration feature with the same application, to accelerate their passage through border control upon their arrival in Canada.
Also, masks will no longer be required on conveyances, including airplanes, and for all regulatory processes, including: passenger and non-passenger screening security checkpoints (NPS and NPSV), boarding and the customs processing area.
However, wearing a mask remains an effective measure to limit the spread of COVID-19. It is everyone’s responsibility to decide whether to wear it or not.
