Last Friday, the Embraer E195-E2, in Porter Airlines colours, landed for the first time at YUL as part of the airline’s Toronto-Montréal service. Some of our colleagues from the YUL community and ADM were on hand to tour the aircraft and learn more about its features.   

The E195-E2’s noise level is as efficient as the A220. It also offers a significant reduction in fuel consumption per seat and per trip compared to other 120-150 seat aircrafts – which is a further step in the decarbonisation trajectory of our industry.   

We applaud Porter Airlines for adding this aircraft to their fleet and for their commitment to reducing their environmental impact. For YUL, the arrival of this aircraft represents an important step in sustainability by reducing both greenhouse gas emissions and the noise footprint of air activities at YUL.
