You may have seen them, the ambassadors of the company Enuf – which helps organizations better manage and sort their waste – are back! Since Tuesday, they have been walking around the terminal building to help passengers and employees of the YUL community better sort residual materials.  

As part of the “Green Brigade Verte” project, educational ambassadors, in uniform, are mandated to stand near waste sorting stations to share good practices in sorting, thus avoiding contamination of bins, and raise awareness on the issues surrounding the waste crisis.  

At the same time, the staff in the container room have been mandated to observe if there is an improvement in sorting in this area with the presence of the green brigade.  

If this initiative continues to be successful, the green brigade could return to YUL during the year, at strategic times, to continue their mission.
