Since July 31, the South Shore branch of the REM is open to the public between the Brossard and Gare Centrale stations.

The REM’s South Shore branch provides access from Brossard to downtown Montréal in under 18 minutes, thereby improving transport services for residents of the South Shore. It’s a transportation alternative to the car.

The service will run from 5.30 am until 1 am, seven days a week. The automated train is set to run every three minutes during rush hour. Once at Gare Centrale, it’s just a few minutes’ walk to the 747 bus stop, heading towards YUL.
