We would like to inform you of a tragic accident that occurred on Saturday afternoon at YUL. A colleague employed by our partner EQUANS sadly passed away while on duty. Our sincerest thoughts go out to the employee’s family and loved ones, as well as to the members of the community who witnessed and responded to this sad event. This situation has shaken us all and our hearts go out to you.   

Out of respect for the victim, we will be holding a minute’s silence today at 1:15 p.m. throughout the airport community. Of course, we also invite you to observe it on your side, as a sign of solidarity.   

This tragic accident reminds us of the fragility of life. There is no reason under any circumstances, particularly in the course of our work, to take it away from us. We ask you never to set aside the health and safety rules that are there to protect you.
