Why is the airport environment so unique? 

Complex operations 

Managing passengers through the passenger process, maintenance close to aircrafts, site work – while operations are maintained, the environment is bustling, and the risks are multiple. Safety measures must therefore be adapted so as not to interfere with ongoing operations. 

Traffic 

Every year, the number of users on the site increases, and so the need to adapt our practices to take account of this traffic is significant. Safety protocols must be rigorous and require the investment of everyone involved to ensure that they are respected and that safe working practices are adopted. 

High risks and the need for training 

Electrical hazards, chemical hazards, fall hazards, collision hazards, ergonomic hazards – these are just a few examples of the risks that community workers face every day.
