We’re here! Canadian Airports Safety Week begins today.

This year’s program has been designed to remind you of the importance of the efforts required to minimize airside risks and ensure a high level of air safety performance. It’s been said repeatedly that a well-functioning SMS requires a collaborative approach.

The theme of the week is Human Factors and Training. Human factors refer to how individuals interact within their work environment — with equipment, procedures, the physical setting, and with one another. These interactions are essential to both safety and performance, which is why everyone needs to stay vigilant and informed. The study of human factors aims to enhance both safety and efficiency.

Explore Our Airside Safety Awareness Campaign

ADM Aéroports de Montréal is proud to introduce a new campaign designed to promote best practices for driving airside, whether on aprons, taxiways, or runways.

Featuring seven impactful visuals, the campaign highlights that aviation safety is a shared responsibility. It calls on all members of the airport community to assess risks, stay alert, and demonstrate exemplary behavior in areas where aircraft, vehicles, and pedestrians operate side by side.

In this fast-paced and complex environment, maintaining constant awareness is key to preventing incidents and ensuring a safe operational space for everyone.
