Due to two strikes affecting public transport in Montréal, major disruptions are to be expected.
On 1 November 2025, a strike by the drivers, operators and station agents’ union will result in a complete interruption of bus and métro services. The last bus will depart at 1:15 a.m. on the night of 31 October to 1 November, and service will resume at 6:15 a.m. on 2 November.
Employees who do not have a parking permit and plan to use their vehicle on 1 November may park in the P10 car park for the day.
Reminder of the strike from 2 to 28 November
In addition, from November 2 to 28, the strike by the Syndicat du transport de Montréal (maintenance workers) will result in reduced métro and bus schedules.
We encourage you to plan your trips in advance and consult the STM website regularly for updates and reduced schedules.
ADM representations before the Tribunal administratif du Québec (TAT)
Despite ADM’s efforts before the TAT to ensure that service on line 747 would continue, the Tribunal rejected our arguments and authorized the public transit strike without requiring essential service.
ADM wishes to document the impact of this labour dispute and invites you to report any health or safety incidents resulting from this strike. You can contact us at the following address: yulsatisfaction@admtl.com.
Thank you for your understanding!
